My favourite food

WALT create a quality blog post that is ‘perfect’ and shares your favourite food!

Today Whaea Jade told our class that we are going to do a cyber smart challenge. We had to go onto our class site and read what we had to do. We had to blog about our favourite food. It was hard to pick your favourite food. I chose larermaded lamb chops.

I found it hard to choose my favourite food.

I liked making the blog.

Do you like lamb chops?

ANZAC writing

WALT write an acrostic poem about Anzac Day

Yesterday we had to write an acrostic poem about Anzac Day in our writing book. After we had to recraft and edit , after we had to publish our writing on a peace of paper, then draw a poppy and colour over the writing.

I enjoyed writing the poem and drawing the poppy.

I did not enjoy making the blog and cutting the poppy?

Would you like to do this someday?

Anzac

`WALT read and learn about Anzac day.

Last Monday Whaea Jade told us to go read a text about Anzac day.  After that we had to write a blog about what we did.  We did it so we could learn about Anzac.

I enjoyed doing the blog.

I did not enjoy reading the text.

Would you like to do this one day?

Digatal footprint

WALT know what a digital footprint is.

Today Whaea Donna came and we had to choose something to do from three things. I chose the mind map. After the mind map I had to make a quality blog post about what we did  We had to search up the logo for each thing we had been on.

I enjoyed making the mind map.

What I found difficult was writing the reflection.

What I could do differently was done more then I did.

Do you think you would like to do this?

camp

Last week we went to camp.  At camp we climbed Te Pu O Te Wheke and then went to Toupo bay campground.  After we got set up we went down to the beach to have a play on the playground and have a swim.  After our swim we went up and had Nachos and spaghetti bolognes.  The next day we did all the activities.  On Thursday we had to pack up camp.  When we got to school we had school lunches then got picked up.

Sailing

WALT sail

Yesterday we went to Taipa to learn how to sail.  Our teachers Steph and Averall.  First we had a korero then we had to set up the boats.  It was harder then it looked!  We split up into two groups.  My group was on the land first.  On the land we learnt how to makke boats out of tinfoil and sailers knots.  After the other group my group went in the boats.  First we sailed out in the open and then we went in the habour.  In the hauber we  had to play simon says.  We also had to swap boats with some one else.  We also had to capsise the boat among lots of other stuff.

I helped someone else by pulling them in to the boat.

Someone else helped me by pushing the boat back over

Do you thinh you would like to go sailing?

Rippa rugby

WALT play Rippa rugby.

What I really enjoyed was the game  because I like running and on the big field you have to do lots of running  and passing.

The thing didn’t enjoy was the bear crawl because I had a very sore wrist and it hurt my wrist even more.

Would you like to do this  someday? If youdo can you tell me on comments?

On Tuesday Bauden came to our school to teach us  Rippa Rugby.  First we did some drills so we could get the understanding of Rippa rugby. After the drills we played a real game of Rippa rugby on the big field.  I scored two tries for my team.
